Malarkey Highlander Roofing and Decking Work in Indianapolis


Project Description


A house and detached garage in Indianapolis, Indiana were the two structures included in this roofing project. Malarkey Highlander 242 architectural shingles in Storm Gray were selected for the new roofing, with matching RidgeFlex ridge shingles and SmartStart starter shingles.


Decking work became a significant part of the build. The crew used 44 sheets of OSB during the July 2026 work after identifying spaced roof boards and plywood delamination. The roof installation scope also included hip-and-ridge shingles, chimney flashing, step flashing and wall flashing. ABC PRO-Guard 20 synthetic underlayment, black drip edge and gutter apron were among the supplied components.


The project was arranged as customer-paid work. An updated supplemental estimate added the OSB decking to the insurance documentation.

Goodwin Street Onyx Black Oakridge Reroof with Valley Supplement Review


Project Description


The Goodwin Street home entered an Allstate-related roofing project after Indy Roof & Restoration obtained measurements and presented replacement quotes. The homeowner signed a contract in May 2026, and the team assembled the carrier scope for supplement review. Production was coordinated with other ready jobs in the same block. The roofing order was assigned to our installation crew for a July 20 installation, followed the next day by a project-complete note requesting depreciation recovery.


Onyx Black Owens Corning Oakridge shingles and matching ProEdge caps formed the replacement roof. The roofing package paired them with Starter Strip Plus, Tarco LeakBarrier MS300 ice-and-water shield and ABC PRO-Guard 20 synthetic underlayment. Black drip edge and gutter apron coordinated with the dark shingles, while pipe flashings and ridge-vent products were included in the package. The roof labor covered 32 squares of laminated-shingle tear-off and installation and 81 linear feet of hip/ridge work. Steep-slope labor allowances formed part of the updated production scope.


Claim review continued after the roof was built, with completion documentation and a certificate submitted in late July. The adjuster stated that roll roofing had been added in the valleys. The final closeout note records an increase in the roofing scope.


Indy Roof & Restoration submitted completion documentation and a certificate to support the insurance process. The finished roof and the postproduction claim review proceeded as distinct phases of the project.
