Shingle and Low-Slope Roof Replacement on Classic View Drive

Project Description

An active roof leak prompted a retail replacement project at this Indianapolis home on Classic View Drive. Indy Roof & Restoration coordinated with the resident and Cushman & Wakefield property managers to arrange access, vendor documentation and the roofing schedule. The work covered both the pitched house roof and a separate low-slope section, with existing gutters retained.

The shingle roof received Owens Corning Oakridge in Onyx Black, paired with matching ProEdge hip and ridge shingles and black edge metal and vents. The completed roofing work order included steep, two-story sections, hip and ridge installation, and wall, step and chimney flashing. The low-slope work used a separate base-and-cap assembly, with Malarkey OmniSeal materials in Midnight Black selected for that section.

Tear-off exposed makeshift plugs left by an earlier contractor, creating a need for a secure nailing surface before the new roof could proceed. The homeowner approved a change order for 17 Quarrix Smart Plugs, which were included in the final project scope. At the lower roof, the crew also adjusted the supplied apron metal to extend farther into the existing gutter.

Exterior work included 115 linear feet of trim installation and white painting under the completed work order. The June completion note requested the certificate of completion. This closeout followed coordination among the roofing crew, resident and property-management team.

Oakridge Driftwood Roof Replacement for a Noblesville Rental Home

Project Description

Wind damage to an aging three-tab roof led the owner of a rental home on Lowell Drive in Noblesville to consider replacement. The insurance estimate allowed replacement of several slopes and repairs to wind-damaged shingles on the back slope. Indy Roof & Restoration presented replacement options, and the owner selected a complete house-roof replacement with an insurance credit applied toward the retail contract.

The June 2026 roofing work included tear-off and laminated-shingle installation under a 16-square labor scope. Owens Corning Oakridge shingles in Driftwood were paired with ProEdge hip and ridge shingles. The roof assembly included Tarco LeakBarrier MS300 ice-and-water protection, ABC Pro-Guard 20 synthetic underlayment and Owens Corning starter strips.

The work also addressed seven linear feet of wall flashing and 14 linear feet of step flashing at the roof's wall connections. Black edge metal, black ventilation components and pipe flashings completed the selected system, with 59 linear feet of hip and ridge installation included in the completed work. The scope covered the house roof, with existing gutters retained.

Indy arranged pickup of unused materials after the build. The supplier credit returned the five ordered OSB sheets.

These guys are excellent. Extremely professional, reliable, and . communicative. Lavell was my project manager and he was awesome. I had to get him out for quotes several times for a project on a house I was buying (sellers were trying to hide problems and fake fixes but weren't smart enough to get away with it) and Lavell happily kept coming back out and getting me the info I needed each time. When it came time to complete the job, the crew did fantastic work - very thorough and looks great. Th... Read more

IndyRoof & Restoration did a great job from beginning to completion. The field inspector, Mark Sopke, was my initial and ongoing contact through the entire project. Can’t think of anything else he could have done to make the process easier. Highly recommend both Mark and IndyRoof. I even called my insurance agent and told them how good they were.

We hired Indy Roof & Restoration (IR&R) to replace our roof and gutters this summer, and we are very happy with the result! We had taken some storm damage (hail and wind) last winter, and IR&R was able to work with our homeowner's insurance to get the majority of the replacement paid for! We are also very happy that IR&R is a certified installer of Malarkey shingles. Funny name, I know, but these might actually be the best shingles money can buy. We went with Malarkey Legacy shingles, as we want... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

We have been creating five-star experiences since 2018 and have built a team that takes the stress out of roofing and home restoration. With over 1,500 five-star Google reviews and a consistent A+ BBB rating, our reputation speaks for itself, but what we are most proud of is how we treat people when things go wrong. We are available 24/7, we offer financing for eligible clients, and we assist homeowners through the insurance claims process from start to finish. One of our customers had a roof replacement approved through insurance after other contractors said it could not be done, and that is exactly the kind of advocacy we bring to every job.

Yes, navigating a storm damage claim is one of the things we do best. When hail, wind, or rain damages your roof, we conduct a thorough inspection with photo documentation so you have a clear record of everything that was affected. We assist you through the entire claims process, working directly with your insurance company to make sure all damage is properly reported and covered. Homeowners across Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, and the surrounding Indiana communities have relied on us to get approvals that other contractors could not secure.

Yes, and this is one of the things that genuinely sets us apart. Beyond residential roofing, commercial roofing, and gutter installation and repair, we also offer vinyl siding installation, James Hardie siding installation, window replacement, skylight installation, attic insulation, interior and exterior painting, and water and fire restoration services. We even provide mold removal for homes affected by water damage. Whether your home needs one service or a full restoration after a major event, we handle it all under one roof so you are never managing multiple contractors or wondering who is responsible for what.

It starts with a free inspection. We come out, assess the condition of your roof, take photos, and give you an honest recommendation on whether repair or full replacement makes more sense for your situation. If insurance is involved, we help you through that process as well. Once you decide to move forward, we work with you on scheduling, material selection, and financing if needed, and we keep you informed at every stage. Our goal is to make a stressful situation feel manageable, not more complicated.

Yes, community involvement is a core part of who we are, not just a line on a website. We proudly support Fountains of Hope, which works to provide clean drinking water in third-world nations, and Habitat for Humanity, where we provide free roofing for homes being built or renovated for families in need. For us, being a good roofing company means being a good neighbor, and the work we do in the Indianapolis community and beyond is a reflection of the values we bring to every project we take on.
