Herbie took his time and looked at all the possible sources of the leak, including crawling into my attic. He diagnosed the problem as being with the rock chimney. The mortar needs to be replaced. He recommended a person to do the work. Once the mortar as been replaced, he will return and seal the chimney with ClearGuard, giving me a reasonable quote.
