As a new homebuyer, this client reached out to us after the home inspector noticed some leaking in the attic. The owner of this 1979 home initially reached out to us to replace some missing shingles that some animals got ahold of. Talk about mountain life! The owner of this 1938 historic structure is repurposing it as a residential home. Part of this included tearing off an old and rotting roof system and replacing it with a beautiful Charcoal Black shingle roof from the CertainTeed Landmark series. As the home is old, there was a lot of rotten or damaged wood beneath the roof and we love knowing that it is now stronger than ever after replacing the old wood with new wood before installing the roof system!
