I paid $13,500 for a new roof and a 30 year warranty sold to me as "all-inclusive". After a few revisions and delays, the work was done but it took nearly a year to track down the paperwork. First let me address the damaged flashing. We replaced the ROOF, not the rake metal. The rake metal is what is NOW damaged, due to wind. There is NO reason or justification for us to warranty/repair something we had no hand in installing. We warranty our workmanship for 10 years. I believe that is at or above industry standards. Anyone who has had their roof replaced, understands there is going to be some debris that gets into the attic space. Our installers do their due diligent's to prevent this as much as possible. The Warranty paperwork was not received by Mr. Clarence Smith due to Certainteed or USPS. We filed paperwork for warranty, as we always do. We had no hand in the delay of that. Once we were made aware of the issue, a new Warranty was sent to Mr. Clarence Smith asap. The nails on the ground occur. Our installers do their best to clean up and we go back to do a follow up sweeping for nails. There are THOUSANDS of nails on the roof, it is nearly impossible to get all of them up out of the grass. We apologize, however, if it was an ongoing problem that we were made aware of, we could have returned to sweep again. I REALLY DO NOT like to defend our COMPANY against false/slanderous accusations. However, I understand that there was some confusion of what we were responsible for warrantying on the homeowners part. However, a simple phone call could have explained this issue. Negative review not necessary. Once again, we stand behind OUR WORK, we have been in the industry for 24 years.
