WARNING!!!I received my estimate for a 30 square shingle roof, 2 flat balcony roofs and gutters on September 1st 2021. After some back and forth trying to get them to go DOWN on the the price, on September 22nd I told Nick the estimator I am ready to go forward on their quoted price. He hits me with it will be $1,400 MORE due to price increases even though the quote says it is valid for 30 days. Yes, you received a free estimate on 8/31/21 from our company for shingle roofing, rubber roofing and aluminum gutters. That estimate was never signed, therefore you had no contract with Lockhart Roofing. At this time we’re unable to offer any additional discounts, which is what you asked for multiple times. For over 40 years we’ve been able to hold pricing for 30 days for free estimate but unfortunately this pandemic has changed the building industry drastically. We made you aware of these changes before any contract was signed to avoid future issues. We took your suggestion and removed that from the free estimate form, to avoid issues moving forward. The building industry is struggling during this “post pandemic” time. Recently the aluminum pricing has hit a all time high and continues to raise, the insulation board used for rubber roofing is unobtainable at this point and shingle manufacturers have had to stop production on over half of the types, styles and colors due to the overwhelming demand and other issues arising from this pandemic. Our prices from our suppliers are being raised constantly and unfortunately it’s beyond our control. Some materials are non existent at this point, and it’s uncertain when items will be available. Our suppliers pricing does change without notice at times. If you’ve dealt with any building or remodeling at this time you would know that although it’s unfortunate the pricing is fluctuating constantly. While we’re unable to help you with your project for your rental home we wish you the best moving forward.

Lockhart replaced our 30-year old roof, removing 2 layers of shingles and doing decking repair. I got multiple bids before starting the work. Professionalism during the bidding carried over into the job. Impressed from start to finish. Materials, debris truck and crew arrived as promised. From the estimator to the crew they were all friendly. The crew was fast, had my roof completed in less than 6 hours. Plus cleaned up any material like nails out of my yard to protect my puppy from stepping on one.
