Los Gatos Roofing came to the rescue when our skylight — which they did NOT install — blew off in this week’s storm. Although it was Friday afternoon, their crew arrived the same day, made emergency repairs to keep us dry, and DID NOT CHARGE US! They installed our roof in 2023, and even though this issue had nothing to do with their work, they showed up immediately and took care of us. Outstanding service, kindness, and professionalism. We are very grateful — highly recommend We are very gra... Read more

Frances, showing up for you on a stormy Friday afternoon — for a skylight we didn't even install — is just what felt right. We're so glad you stayed dry, and knowing you're taken care of means everything to us. It was truly our pleasure. — The Los Gatos Roofing Team

Dave at Los Gatos Roofing was very responsive when I called. The entire process took 2 days. My neighbors and I were shocked as to how quickly the old roof was taken off and gone in just few hours and the next day the new roof went on. With Dave’s continuous supervision the entire project went on smoothly and professionally and the place was cleaned up completely. I have a beautiful roof now. I definitely recommend them and it’s well worth the price. Thank you Los Gatos roofing

Our house is currently having a new roof installed this week. The crew is top-notch, and you can see the craftsmanship this company brings to a job site. We also had new gutters installed by Salvador and his team. These guys were EXCELLENT!!!! I mean, they asked us to check all their work to ensure they did everything to our expectations...and brother, they delivered. We even requested a minor modification to one gutter and they not only made the change but offered various options to the change... Read more

Had my full roof replaced with any points of entry for rodents sealed up. The work was done on schedule and it was very easy to work with Dave (he was very professional) and the team at Los Gatos Roofing. The place was left very well cleaned up, and the roof looks great!

Frequently Asked Questions

We have been part of the Bay Area community since 1905 and have been replacing roofs in San Jose since 1978, and the Radonich family has built this company on one principle: do the work right and stand behind it completely. We hold the Diamond Certified Award, the Angi Super Service Award, and elite certifications from Owens Corning, CertainTeed, and Malarkey, and we have earned over 400 five-star reviews across Google and Yelp. We never use subcontractors on any project, which means the team that shows up at your home is our team, trained to our standards, every single time.

We install a full range of residential roofing systems including fiberglass asphalt composition shingles, standing seam metal roofing, concrete and clay tile, cedar shakes and shingles, and green roofing products. Whatever material fits your home's architecture, your energy goals, or your budget, we carry the certifications and experience to install it correctly and back it with the strongest manufacturer warranties available. Our team will walk you through the options during a free in-home estimate so you can make a fully informed decision.

Never. Every member of the crew that arrives at your home is a direct Los Gatos Roofing employee, and that applies to both roofing and gutter installation. We believe quality control starts with owning the work from start to finish, and using subcontractors introduces variables we are not willing to accept. This is one of the most important questions you can ask any roofing contractor, and our answer has never changed in over four decades of serving the South Bay.

If you are seeing water pooling near your foundation, staining on your exterior walls, erosion in your landscaping, or gutters that are sagging, pulling away, or visibly clogged after every rain, it is worth having us take a look. We can assess whether a repair is all you need or whether a full replacement makes more sense, and we will give you an honest recommendation either way. Our gutters are fabricated on location and custom-fit to your roofline, and we repair systems we did not originally install as well.

For most Bay Area homeowners, yes, it is one of the highest-return home improvements available. According to Energy Star, a properly insulated attic can reduce heating and cooling costs by up to 20% per year, and homes with insufficient insulation can lose up to 40% of their conditioned air through the attic alone. Our free inspection takes a quick look at your current insulation levels, and if you decide to move forward, the full installation using our Owens Corning AttiCat blown-in system is typically completed in under two hours with minimal mess and no settling over time.
