This roof replacement was completed in just one day, from tear off to final touches. The old roof was removed within the first 2 hours, and the roof deck was inspected for any rot or damage. At all eaves and valleys, Ice and Water Shield was installed, to help prevent any leaks from wind driven rains and ice dams. A water resistant underlayment, Roof Runner, was installed on the entire roof deck. Starter Shingles were installed at all eaves and rakes to lock in the first course of shingles. The architectural shingles, Certainteed Landmark, were then installed in a staircase pattern up the roof.
