Hello Mr. Sanders, Thank you for the review and sorry if there was any confusion. Please note that at no time did MGC threaten to put a lien on your property. The exact language in the email was: "trying to prevent any Mechanics Liens being placed". Your roof was installed in July 2021 and all work was completed in October 2021. Your Insurance Carrier was delaying payments and we only received funds from you in April and late June 2022. MGC "floated the bill" and paid the subcontractors and suppliers in full, preventing any Mechanics Liens being placed on your property. Regarding the "roof leak": I want to make sure that we are all on the same page as your roof did not leak. Wind blown snow was entering the soffit above a dead valley. We identified this issue and completed the exterior repairs, and removed and replaced the interior drywall that got wet. We did not charge for this additional work even though it was outside of our original scope. I am pleased with our team for the work they did and for identifying the building/design error. As always, we are glad that we were able to assist you and your family by adding equity to your home (based on the documentation we provided your insurance company, your adjusters worked with us and increased your claim payout by 55%.).
