More than 10 years ago, McGlinch & Sons replaced the siding on our house with James Hardy. We recently discovered some rotted wood under the cedar trim. I called Ryan and he stood behind his work and only charged us for materials. The way to discover a good contractor is when things don't go right. I was pleased then and I am pleased now.

Since my last review, we have had James Hardie siding installed on our home by McGlinch & Sons...it looks so much more beautiful than we imagined! The job was started the week prior to Christmas and finished about 3 weeks ago. The workmanship is excellent. This winter was a tough one: icy rain, wind, way below freezing temps, snow... We really wanted to give this company our business, and when one of the sons came out personally for the first meeting, we felt pretty good about it. Except then the promised second visit for the formal estimate never happened; we waited a few weeks, knowing that summer was likely a very busy time for them, and then called. The receptionist was appropriately mortified and promised that we would soon hear from them.

We have had McGlinch & Sons do multiple jobs for us. They treated the small jobs as important as the large jobs. Each time Ryan was incredibly patient and very accommodating to help us understand our options and provide recommendations that were reasonable and long term value.
