We installed a lifetime 50 year, GAF Timberline H-D, Fox Hollow Gray Shingle on the York PA, church office building. We also did a repair on the main church roof. During one of the windstorms this summer several shingles were found on the ground around the church. We were able to do a roof repair which prevented any damage to the interior of the church. This project Miller's Roofing of Wellsville, PA used GAF Roofing Products including the PRO-Start Eave/Rake Starter Strips along with the 50 year GAF shingle in Weathered Wood. Some roofing contractors try to use a cut-up strip shingle as the "starter" course on your roof. Unfortunately, this sometimes does not ensure adequate wind resistance because of the improperly postioning adhesive, resulting in shingles blowing off your roof. We use the PRO-Start Eaves/Rake Starter Strips that will tightly lock your shingles in place to help prevent any shingle blow off. PRO-Start Eave/Rake Starter Strip is a key component in the installation of your GAF Roofing System. The quality of our materials is important to us and Miller's Roofing skilled craftsmanship will give you peace of mind as our professionals ensure the intregrity of your roof.

I just want to say that your employees were awesome! They were very respectful and worked hard(even covered my fish pond :) ) during the project and excelled at the cleanup afterword. It was really cold that day and I didn't hear one negative word from anyone. The only thing that I was a bit surprised at was the wood shavings and roof remnants that fell into my bathroom where the skylight was closed off. There was quite a mess in there, but I assume that happens often with the work that was needed to provide cover over the old area where the skylight had been. And some of my plaster fell in the kitchen and my master bathroom due to the pressure of nailing and replacing my roof. I didn't point this out to anyone at the time...and at this point harbor no hard feelings about it...I just wanted to point out that it happened. I was able to clean all of that up with no issues. Maybe in the future may I suggest that someone could ask the homeowner to cover the toilets or any appliances that would be seated below a skylight that is being covered. Thank you for everything.
