I had a shingled roof that was 36 yrs old it had 4 canister vents and a powered attic fan the attic stayed relatively cool on the hottest days but I called Mr. Roof in 2015 to write a contract for new asphalt shingles, the rep guided me to adding 4 additional can vents, and removing the powered attic fan which was told to me that I no longer needed, fast forward to 2024 I was up on the roof cleaning tree debris off the roof when I realized the wood under the shingles was very soft, long story sh...
