If you're like me, you're not a roofer and you don't know a whole lot about roofs. Very disappointed by a few things- especially because you pay a premium to ensure it’s not a problem. Lawn was brown where they left their things, cleanup was not good, BIG thing was our skylights. 5 skylights installed (my bad for not reading the contract closer) apparently this doesn’t mean they do any finishing on the inside of the house! Large gaps and unfinished edges inside, skylights were too big for the existing opening, and one is so much bigger that we can never get the screen out t... Read more

The Novalis's crew did an extraordinary job replacing our roof. For 4 days they came sharply punctual and they left all clean and neat after they completed their daily work. We recently discovered that a cedar shake roof on one of our barns was deteriorating badly because of bad workmanship done when the shakes were put on in 2007. We met with Jon Novalis (3rd generation owner) in his Chatham office, where he spent almost an hour with us explaining our options.
