We helped this customer replace the roof on both their home and detached garage. While they originally had (2) skylights, they had asked us to remove and cover them up before we installed Landmark PRO asphalt shingles in Heather Blend.

For this customer, we replaced the roof on both their home and the shed with CertainTeed Landmark Pro asphalt shingles in Espresso. Then we replaced the asphalt shingles on the pent and above the window with a lovely regal red metal. We went above and beyond in ensuring that the color matched their existing red shutters and front door. We love the look of an asphalt shingle roof with a metal pent roof to make it stand out.

For this project, we removed (1) existing layer of asphalt roofing down to the wood deck on all facets of the home and also removed the wood decking on the upper roof due to the condition of the plywood. After that we installed CertainTeed Landmark Pro asphalt shingles in Charcoal Black to match nicely with the new metal roof that we installed on the porch section of the home. Having an asphalt shingle roof with a metal porch roof has been trending in Delaware County and it's a nice way to have your home stick out in the neighborhood. This customer hired us to replace the upper roof portion of their home and install (2) new skylights where the existing ones were. When we first went to their home and did our evaluation, we revealed there was a decent amount of mold in the plywood decking. After we replaced that plywood, we also sprayed existing rafters/trusses with a 50/50 bleach water solution to kill any mold in those areas. After that, we installed CertainTeed Landmark Pro asphalt shingles in Heather Blend color. We also installed a DCI "Smart Vent" that will provide adequate intake airflow to work in conjunction with the ridge vent to prevent any mold issues in the future.
