I recently had O'Lyn replace 3 of my skylights which failed (leaks and water damage) after a few heavy storms. They quickly diagnosed the problem, proposed efficient Velux units and scheduled/completed the replacement in a matter of weeks. The new units are fantastic (and because they're solar, they qualify for tax credits). I knew that my roof was near the end of its service life. I was motivated to act when an unmarked white van with a ladder drove up to my house and two guys got out and offered to replace my roof. They claimed that they were doing a job nearby and would put me on their schedule. They gave me a “proposal” that only specified: shingles, waterproof layer, clean-up” with an estimate of $22,000.
