Project scope; Opal Enterprises replaced (16) double-hung windows (1) sliding patio door, and (1) front entryway door all as a full-frame replacement. These were all 25-year-old original builder-grade Hurd windows that had become drafty, some inoperable, and some with damaged seals on the double-pane glass. Opal was able to match existing single double-hung windows, twin double-hung windows, window transoms, door transoms and sidelights to perfection with new Kolbe Forgent (Glastra/wood) series ... This was a very large windows and door project that Opal Enterprises is honored to have been invited to participate with. 18 Kolbe Forgent windows, Patio Door and a new entry door. We are so pleased how this Geneva, IL project turned out. Thank you Miller family for working with Justin and the entire Opal team to make this window improvement project a total success! Thank you also for your review!

Front door installed on 7/7/25 turned out great. If you get a slider door from this company, ask *a lot* of questions upfront about how high the sill will be (the part you step over) and compare it to what is currently in your house.

Thank you for your review, we would have accepted this information in the office or to your project manager regarding your inconvenience on how your new patio door was installed. We will be contacting you as we do feel we can come up with a solution for your new patio door. There are a few nuances with your home that we would like to speak to you about and make a re-installation easier for your mother and family! We value you as our customer! Addition: Customer and office have spoken and a solution of a different installation method will be used to make this door more functional for the home!

We met with Jeff Cermak twice. He is soft spoken, polite, and patient. He thoroughly answered all of our questions. We decided to have our siding done with Opal.

I was very pleased with the work done by Opal. I had a new sliding glass door installed on my second floor balcony. This was a difficult job. It took 4 Opal workers to lift it up over the balcony railing. The installation was perfect. The workers were polite considerate and professional. I am extremely happy with Opal.
