Appears to have done a good job on the roof while protecting the landscaping. My sole complaint is that there was a charge of almost $1500.00 additional for wood replacement. Almost 15% increase over the contract price.
I have to believe this was an intentional cost. I have had the roof replaced two times since living in this home and there were only a few boards that needed replacing each time.

Dear Mrs. Carnes, Thank you for your feedback. When we tore off the old roof we discovered many rotted and damaged boards that needed replacement and could have been the issue of why it needed to be replaced twice previously. When contractors leave soft or rotted wood on the deck prior to installing shingles, it hinders the integrity of the roof and will be problematic, needing replacement again. As discussed, we were unable to determine how much wood would need to be replaced until all the shingles were removed and the wood exposed. We understand that wood replacement can be costly, and the exact price of wood is unknown until we can see how much is needed to replace. When you contracted us to replace your roof you had addressed many issues such as transitioning an uneven roof line, which was complicated but turned out perfect. We also discussed and emphasized wood replacement (especially because your home was older and had some roof wood rot). Once we discovered what was needed we were in touch with you every step of the process and provided you with pictures of what was needed and what was replaced upon your request. We work hard to ensure the roof has a solid structure so that the shingles lay smooth and perform it’s life 100% without failures.
We had a leak from an unknown spot in the roof. Their assessors came out quickly and identified the problem immediately. The repair crew was exactly on time and finished quickly. We feel like we received excellent value but we know that we got great service and great responsiveness. Will definitely go back to them for any needs in the future
