Had a new roof and new skylights installed by Penfolds in June 2026. We were very satisfied with the quality of the work and the efficiency of the installation. We also found the Technical Advisor, Harvey Chow very good to work with in getting the project completed.

They did a good job when they finally arrived but they arrived a couple of weeks after the date I was originally quoted. They told me that I had rotten plywood that needed to be replaced at $180 per sheet. I went up onto the roof with the foreman and he agreed that the plywood was all ok.

We paid a premium expecting top-tier product and service from Penfolds, and unfortunately the experience fell short in ways I think other homeowners should know about. During the sales process, the Penfolds salesman was critical of the shingle quality of the other company we were considering, which uses Malarkey Vista. That criticism influenced our decision to go with Penfolds. We later learned that Penfolds’ Cedartwin Classic is, in fact, Malarkey Vista under a different name. I’ll let readers... Read more

Hi Kevin, thank you for recognizing the hard work and quality of our installation crew; we are thrilled that you are happy with the roof itself. We also thank you for paying the bill promptly. We will be sending you your comprehensive warranty shortly. However, we sincerely apologize for the lack of communication, the billing confusion regarding the extra plywood and fascia repairs, and any unprofessional comments you encountered after the job was done. This falls far short of our standards. Someone from our team will reach out to you shortly.
