Penfolds replaced our asphalt roof, two vented skylights, and gutters/downspouts. They also demolished our deteriorating chimney. Thank you for such a comprehensive review, Stephanie, and thanks for your patience in working through a few details when the new Technical Advisor took over your project. There was lots happening with your project, which required various teams to all be scheduled and get each phase completed prior to the final inspection. After the roofing and gutter crews were done, we had to wait for your solar company to re-install your solar panels, which was the primary cause for the delay. Our teams completed work on May 30th and the solar company you were working with didn’t re-install panels until June 23rd. These kinds of delays aren’t uncommon when working with various companies and as such, we had to wait for all trades to be completed before doing the final inspection.
The short notice for starting the job is not common. We like to ensure homeowners have advance notice. This year has been an anomaly as the weather in the Spring was so rainy that many jobs were postponed. We jumped on the first good weather window for us to start your project. With so many rainy days, this left us in a position of providing short notice, which we do try to avoid.
We really appreciate your feedback and it means a lot for us to hear from customers about the little things that make big differences.
