Mr. Thies, I'm very surprised to read your review. I wish you would have called me or the office to discuss your concerns. We stand behind our work and we will fix any issues we are made aware of if given the opportunity to do so. Although I agree that my crew should have taken care to avoid driving in your yard or causing ruts, as soon as I was made aware of the damage to your yard, we brought in full load of dirt and filled the holes. I am sorry to hear that in spite of the extra measures taken to protect your siding there were scuffs left behind by falling shingles. We are happy to return and clean the blemishes at your convenience. I just wasn't aware of any damage to the siding as this is the first time you have brought this to my attention. A roof your size requires approximately 19,800 coiled roofing nails. Although we work very hard at ensuring that we have removed them all, sometimes we miss a few that the magnets can't reach or that have become embedded in thick grass such as yours. I apologize that you found 24 nails left behind. We strive hard to go above and beyond for our clients. Upon meeting with you at your initial appointment on December 8 you expressed the importance of having your roof replaced before Christmas. You also requested to have gutters installed. Even though we were booked well beyond the holiday, I made special arrangements to accommodate your request. Not only did we get your roof done before Christmas, we had your gutters installed. We were met with several obstacles but did our best to accommodate your wishes, five days before Christmas. When the shingle color you chose (Sunrise Cedar - low supply from manufacturer due to Covid) was unavailable locally, I found, ordered and had them delivered from Tampa, Florida, AT MY EXPENSE. As you mentioned, we have many 5 star reviews and 99.9 % of our customers rave about Powell Roofing. We stand behind our work now and will continue to do so through the many years of your warranty. In closing i would like to say all of these issues could have been resolved with a simple phone call. We are more than willing to come out and clean up the siding if you would like and run the magnet a few more times. We appreciate your business and are sorry that you feel this way.
