Swing FORE Recovery is a charity golf series Project Map It started in 2023 to benefit Roofers in Recovery, a non-profit helping contractors get through substance abuse and addiction. Learn more about our event by clicking below
Learn MoreProject Map It was proud to be part of the QXO Founders Summit at the Historic Hotel Bethlehem in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, an event organized by QXO Account Executive Adam Schaus. Adam brought together contractors and industry professionals for a great opportunity to connect, learn, and share ideas about where the home improvement and construction industries are headed.
During the event, Project Map It Managing Director Steve Spence presented to contractors about online searchability and how artificial intelligence is changing the way homeowners discover, research, and evaluate contractors. As AI-powered search tools become a bigger part of the homeowner research process, contractors need to think beyond traditional SEO and make sure their entire digital footprint provides accurate, consistent, and useful information about their company.
The presentation covered several important areas of a contractor's online presence, including Google Business Profile optimization, website content and structure, online reviews, and NAP consistency—making sure a company's Name, Address, and Phone number remain consistent across online profiles and directories. We also discussed the website pages and information contractors should prioritize so both homeowners and search platforms can better understand who they are, what services they provide, and the areas they serve.
These conversations connect directly with what we are building at Project Map It (PMI). PMI helps roofing, remodeling, and home improvement contractors turn their completed work into visible proof by showcasing project locations, photos, descriptions, and customer reviews. Contractors can use PMI to strengthen their sales presentations, build homeowner trust, collect more Google reviews, and create a stronger online presence around the real work their company has completed.
A big thank you to Adam Schaus and the QXO team for putting together such a valuable event at the Historic Hotel Bethlehem. Opportunities like the QXO Founders Summit allow us to connect with contractors face-to-face, share what we're learning about the future of online search and AI, and continue helping contractors become easier to find, easier to trust, and better equipped to win the next job.
In 2025, Project Map It hosted our 3rd Annual Swing Fore Recovery Golf Tournament at Eagle’s Nest Country Club in Phoenix, Maryland, bringing together contractors, roofing industry professionals, manufacturers, suppliers, customers, and friends for a cause much bigger than golf. Despite a cold and rainy day, the roofing and home improvement community showed up in a big way, helping us raise $20,000 for Roofers in Recovery. We are incredibly grateful to CertainTeed, our steadfast Title Sponsor, and ABC Supply, whose local branches and teams played an important role in supporting and promoting the tournament.
Roofers in Recovery is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people in the roofing and construction community who are struggling with substance use and addiction. The organization helps provide access to a life-changing 28-day rehabilitation program, giving individuals an opportunity to get professional treatment when they may not otherwise have the financial resources to do so. The need is real. The construction industry is a demanding profession, and addiction and mental health challenges can affect employees, business owners, families, and entire companies. Roofers in Recovery exists to make sure members of our industry know they don't have to face those challenges without support.
The 2025 tournament marked the third consecutive year that Project Map It organized Swing Fore Recovery. What started as an opportunity to bring our industry together has grown into an annual event centered around connection, awareness, and giving back. Every golfer, sponsor, volunteer, contractor, supplier, and manufacturer who participated helped us continue building something that can have a lasting impact on people throughout the roofing community.
Giving contractors greater visibility is also at the heart of what we do every day at Project Map It (PMI). Our interactive project mapping and digital sales platform helps roofing, remodeling, and home improvement companies showcase completed projects, display project photos, highlight customer reviews, and give homeowners real-world proof of the work they've completed in their local communities. PMI also provides tools designed to help contractors collect more Google reviews, strengthen their online presence, build homeowner trust, and give their sales teams more credibility when competing for the next project.
Swing Fore Recovery represents an important part of who we want to be as a company. Project Map It isn't only about helping contractors showcase where they've worked—we want to stay connected to the people and organizations that make the roofing and home improvement industry stronger. From Phoenix, Maryland to contractors across the country, our goal is to help great companies get seen, build trust, win more jobs, and make a positive impact in the communities they serve.

We provide an innovative sales tool that combines interactive maps, project reviews, and digital portfolios into one easy-to-use platform. Contractors find our tools invaluable for visually demonstrating their work to clients. Project Map It works with all contractors and all over the US.
We offer a suite of tools including an Interactive Project Map, a centralized Reputation Hub, and a Digital Portfolio, catering to the needs of contractors and home improvement specialists.
Our tool simplifies the sales process by providing visual evidence of past work, making it easier for contractors to secure deals and showcase quality without complex financing terms.
We host and support charity events like the Swing FORE Recovery Golf Tournament in Maryland, raising funds and awareness for programs assisting those in recovery within the contractor industry.
Our tools are unique in combining real-project visual proof with reviews and AI-assisted write-ups, making it seamless for contractors to showcase their work during sales appointments and secure more jobs.
The best sales tool for a roofing contractor is proof of completed work, shown at the moment a homeowner is deciding. Project Map It turns your finished jobs into an interactive map your sales team pulls up at the kitchen table: "Here are 14 jobs we've done within a mile of your house." CRMs manage your pipeline and estimating software prices the job, but neither one closes trust. A map of real jobs in the homeowner's own neighborhood does.
Put your completed jobs on an interactive map and pull it up during the sales call. With Project Map It, jobs are pinned automatically from your material orders and job photos, so your reps can stand in any driveway and show every project your company has completed nearby. Homeowners stop asking "can I trust these guys?" when they can see your work three doors down.
Project Map It is a sales and proof-of-work tool, not a CRM, and it works alongside the CRM you already have. Your CRM tracks leads, jobs, and production. Project Map It takes the jobs you've already completed and turns them into a selling asset: an interactive map for the kitchen table, your website, and your online presence.
Yes, because trust is the last objection in every in-home sale. Price gets you considered. Proof gets you signed. When a rep shows a homeowner a map of completed jobs in their neighborhood, with photos and reviews attached, the conversation shifts from "why should I believe you?" to "when can you start?" That's why 600+ contractors run Project Map It as part of their sales process.
Automatically. Project Map It connects to your material suppliers, including ABC Supply, SRS Distribution, and QXO, so completed jobs are pinned from your real order data. We also connect with CompanyCam so your job photos flow in. You're not paying an office admin to enter addresses. The map builds itself as you work.
Only if you want them to. Project Map It puts you in control of what every pin displays. Roofers and exterior remodelers usually show the full address, because the work is already visible from the street, and in the US it's legal to display an address publicly without the homeowner's permission. Companies that work inside the home take the other route. Interior remodelers, bathroom remodelers, painters, and pest control companies typically set their pins to show city, state, and zip only. Same proof, same map, and the privacy level that fits your industry.
Because Project Map It helps their best contractors sell more of what they install. We partner with manufacturers like CertainTeed and VELUX and integrate with ABC Supply, SRS Distribution, and QXO. Those partnerships exist because the tool sits where manufacturers, distributors, and contractors all win: more completed jobs, better proof, more sales. If you're part of a partner program, ask us about it, because it may change your pricing.
Project Map It is a straightforward subscription priced per location, with corporate pricing for multi-market companies. Contractors in certain manufacturer and partner programs qualify for special pricing. Current plans are on our pricing page, and a demo is the fastest way to see what your map would look like with your own jobs on it.
