Project Map It was proud to be part of the QXO Founders Summit at the Historic Hotel Bethlehem in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, an event organized by QXO Account Executive Adam Schaus. Adam brought together contractors and industry professionals for a great opportunity to connect, learn, and share ideas about where the home improvement and construction industries are headed.

During the event, Project Map It Managing Director Steve Spence presented to contractors about online searchability and how artificial intelligence is changing the way homeowners discover, research, and evaluate contractors. As AI-powered search tools become a bigger part of the homeowner research process, contractors need to think beyond traditional SEO and make sure their entire digital footprint provides accurate, consistent, and useful information about their company.

The presentation covered several important areas of a contractor's online presence, including Google Business Profile optimization, website content and structure, online reviews, and NAP consistency—making sure a company's Name, Address, and Phone number remain consistent across online profiles and directories. We also discussed the website pages and information contractors should prioritize so both homeowners and search platforms can better understand who they are, what services they provide, and the areas they serve.

These conversations connect directly with what we are building at Project Map It (PMI). PMI helps roofing, remodeling, and home improvement contractors turn their completed work into visible proof by showcasing project locations, photos, descriptions, and customer reviews. Contractors can use PMI to strengthen their sales presentations, build homeowner trust, collect more Google reviews, and create a stronger online presence around the real work their company has completed.

3rd Annual Swing Fore Recovery Golf Tournament | Phoenix, Maryland

In 2025, Project Map It hosted our 3rd Annual Swing Fore Recovery Golf Tournament at Eagle’s Nest Country Club in Phoenix, Maryland, bringing together contractors, roofing industry professionals, manufacturers, suppliers, customers, and friends for a cause much bigger than golf. Despite a cold and rainy day, the roofing and home improvement community showed up in a big way, helping us raise $20,000 for Roofers in Recovery. We are incredibly grateful to CertainTeed, our steadfast Title Sponsor, and ABC Supply, whose local branches and teams played an important role in supporting and promoting the tournament.

Roofers in Recovery is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people in the roofing and construction community who are struggling with substance use and addiction. The organization helps provide access to a life-changing 28-day rehabilitation program, giving individuals an opportunity to get professional treatment when they may not otherwise have the financial resources to do so. The need is real. The construction industry is a demanding profession, and addiction and mental health challenges can affect employees, business owners, families, and entire companies. Roofers in Recovery exists to make sure members of our industry know they don't have to face those challenges without support.

The 2025 tournament marked the third consecutive year that Project Map It organized Swing Fore Recovery. What started as an opportunity to bring our industry together has grown into an annual event centered around connection, awareness, and giving back. Every golfer, sponsor, volunteer, contractor, supplier, and manufacturer who participated helped us continue building something that can have a lasting impact on people throughout the roofing community.

Giving contractors greater visibility is also at the heart of what we do every day at Project Map It (PMI). Our interactive project mapping and digital sales platform helps roofing, remodeling, and home improvement companies showcase completed projects, display project photos, highlight customer reviews, and give homeowners real-world proof of the work they've completed in their local communities. PMI also provides tools designed to help contractors collect more Google reviews, strengthen their online presence, build homeowner trust, and give their sales teams more credibility when competing for the next project.

Swing Fore Recovery represents an important part of who we want to be as a company. Project Map It isn't only about helping contractors showcase where they've worked—we want to stay connected to the people and organizations that make the roofing and home improvement industry stronger.
