This project features a full residential roof replacement in Fritch, TX, completed with black Owens Corning TruDefinition® Oakridge® AR architectural shingles, designed for durability, curb appeal, and protection against Texas hail and wind storms.
The existing roof was fully removed down to the decking, followed by a complete deck inspection to ensure a solid foundation.
A high-performance roofing system was installed, including synthetic underlayment for moisture protection, drip edge along all roof perimeters, and ice and water shield in all valleys. A closed valley system was used to maximize leak resistance in critical areas.
Additional components included starter shingles for wind uplift protection, new plumbing pipe jacks, and a ridge vent system to improve attic ventilation and energy efficiency.
The roof was completed with black Owens Corning Oakridge® architectural shingles, delivering a clean, dimensional look with long-lasting performance.
Final steps included a full job site cleanup and magnetic nail sweep, leaving the property safe and clean.
