I feel like I paid an astronomical price for a door. $10,000. I am embarrassed to tell people what I paid. I know. I know. It’s the Lamborghini of doors. I will never have a project like this without getting 2nd or 3 rd estimates. Service & door both very professional. Except I was told the decorative frame surrounding door would likely be $1K. Then the figure jumped to $2,6 K. I had it lowered to $2K. That is a very wide range estimate.

Thank you for your feedback, Michael. As you may recall, our team discovered wood rot and breakage at the threshold of your entry door after the installation was underway. This type of damage is often undetectable until the existing door and frame have been removed. In this particular case, the best plan of action was to rebuild the threshold. While this did lead to an unforeseen additional cost, a proper and secure installation of your door was our top priority. This also allowed us to honor the manufacturer warranty. We are sorry to hear you had anything but a wonderful experience. Your feedback is very important to us and we'd be happy to discuss it further over the phone. The RJW rep walked us through the science behind custom windows and pointed to the many features of the brand of windows that RJW carries - Vanguard by Sunrise.
