FRAUDULENT COMPANY RIPS OFF SENIOR CITIZENS!! CHARGES FOR WORK NOT DONE, WHICH CREATES EXTENSIVE DAMAGE!!! My grandfather, at age 66, had his roof done by Star roofing in 2002. He paid extra for a 40 year shingle. The contract clearly states that the ridge was to be cut to for the vent.I went up on the roof, now 17 years later, to replace some skylights and investigate a leak and ended up putting my foot right through the roof. Star roofing gave very reasonable competitive pricing for slate removal and replacement with asphalt shingles. Even when a few additional charges came up, they honored the negotiated pricing, cleaned up all around the house, and left packet for replacement if needed. Staff are friendly and want to make sure you're happy as the customer. Definitely consider them for roofing work.
