We recently completed a roof replacement in Seattle, WA, where Greg LeBlanc worked with a new homeowner to restore the roof on their 1924 Tudor-style house. The existing composite roof was over 25 years old and had some downed shingles, but no active leaks—just signs of age. The homeowner wanted a similar material with added durability and chose GAF Timberline HDZ shingles in Pewter Gray, along with three new fixed skylights for improved natural light. To address a history of leaking near the front entry, the crew took extra precautions around the valley metal where water had previously found its way in. We also added smart vents for better airflow and installed rubber shielding around the powerline entry point to ensure extra protection. With attic access available and no HOA restrictions, this project came together smoothly, offering the homeowner the quality and long-term peace of mind they were looking for.
