Our Work

153 Eagle Owl Loop , Leander, TX, US

For this asphalt shingle repair, our team removed and disposed of damaged 3-tab shingles and three broken plastic vents. After inspecting the decking for any underlying issues, we installed new underlayment as needed, followed by fresh 3-tab shingles and three durable metal vents. To finish, we performed a full roof tune-up, sealing all roof flashings and exposed nail heads to ensure a secure and weather-tight system.

Storm Guard recently completed a professional roof repair project using CertainTeed Landmark® Architectural Shingles in the Silver Birch color. The high-quality architectural shingles offer superior durability and weather resistance, ensuring long-lasting protection for the home. Our team tackled a problem area where water intrusion was affecting a dead valley section of the roof. We began by carefully removing old flashing and a portion of the surrounding stucco to access the issue at its source. After inspecting the roof decking for any hidden damage, we installed fresh underlayment and new shingles to reinforce the roof’s integrity.

The key upgrade here was the installation of new dead valley flashing and counter flashing, designed to properly channel water away from vulnerable areas. Once the new system was in place, we repaired the stucco and painted it to match the original finish — blending durability with curb appeal.

To further prevent water buildup in the dead valley, we installed ~10 feet of new 6" gutters with gutter guards, a downspout, and a splash guard. These additions help redirect water efficiently, protecting both the roof and the foundation below.

When it comes to targeted repairs, it’s all about fixing the root cause and restoring both form and function — and that’s exactly what we delivered on this one.

We performed a full roof replacement for this project using premium CertainTeed materials for lasting durability and protection. The scope included tearing off the existing roof system down to the decking and replacing it with CertainTeed Landmark Architectural Shingles, ShadowRidge hip and ridge caps, SwiftStart starter course, RoofRunner synthetic underlay, and WinterGuard ice and water barrier. We also installed a 2" x 2" coated aluminum drip edge and secured everything with high-quality fasteners.

Given the two-story height and 8/12 roof pitch, steep and high charges were factored into the labor. We completed the installation with 12" Masterflow externally braced turbines and updated roof accessories including new pipe jack flashings (painted to match), a 6" Texas Tee exhaust vent, and all necessary sealants and paint. Another professionally installed roofing system built to last and perform.

For this roof repair project, we provided a comprehensive service that included repairing the upper corner fascia, detaching and resetting the gutters to complete the repair, and reattaching the fireplace cover. We also replaced the ridge screws with rivets for added durability and swapped out a damaged vent. As a bonus, we included dryer vent cleaning at no additional cost. A thorough repair to keep the home safe, functional, and well-maintained!

My wife and I had a skylight installed by Storm Guard recently and it turned out very nice. Our Rep from SG was David Crawley and he was very easy to work with. We had some shipping issues with getting the skylight from North Carolina (Velux) and it took three times to get it to us without damage. This was no fault of Storm Guard, nor was it the fault of Velux. It was the fault of the shipping company who handled the merchandise poorly. Nevertheless, David came up with a temporary solution consi... Read more

Jason was wonderful to work with. He investigated, found the leak, and wrote a report--all for free! Once we determine the source of the leak (just need it to rain heavily again), we'll definitely enlist the services of Storm Guard Roofing to fix it.

We have an older home, built in 1977 and recently did some bathroom renovations. Had to enclose a tiny window in the master bath, so no more natural light, ugh. Learned that Storm Guard installed solar tunnels which are smaller versions of skylights, with highly reflective metal tube up to the roof. Is just amazing! They came out and did estimates including some roof repair items needed. Very reasonable, excellent work and communications, very happy with results!

Jason has been a pleasure to work with. He gave me a fair estimate for gutters and was also very helpful on a later visit when I needed assistance with a roof leak. He’s very honest about your repair needs and does not push you to make a decision on the spot. I would definitely recommend this company to all of my family and friends.
