Have a leak in a roof for a commercial building, asked for a estimate for the roof repair. Storm guard came out gave me an estimate, signed a contract, but the leak was never fixed. They stated that they came out a second time and the weather was bad and could not do anything. Called them back and was told we need a new roof, not a good way to do business especially when you call yourself experts in the field. We hired Storm Guard of New Bern in December 2024 to remove our old siding and install new. And to build an overhang over our side door. The agreement was for us to pay a percentage up front and the remaining final amount when they were finished and we are satisfied. We found Kevin and Kathy to be very personable, pleasant and easy to work with. They made us aware of and helped us get a $6,000 grant for our fortified roof which was installed on time and on budget. They also did a major renovation on our second floor. We hope to use StormGuard of New Bern again soon for a new deck.
