Tony @ TC was great to work with and the whole experience was professional from start to finish. I’d recommend them to my friends and family. Special bonus was the drone footage they provided of the roof before, during, and after the project. It really helped get a good sense of the project.

Filed an insurance claim for roof/siding damage due to a hailstorm. TC Backer did an amazing job from start to finish. We ended up getting a new roof, siding, and gutters. Our consultant was Micah, who him and his team maintained amazing communication between myself and my insurance company every step of the way. The crew that came in completed all the work in a timely manner, showed a great level of professionalism, and ensured everything was cleaned up at the end of every work day. I would rec... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

We have been a family-owned exterior remodeling company serving York, PA and surrounding communities since 2008, and we have earned the GAF Master Elite certification, which places us in the top 2% of roofing contractors in all of North America. We have been voted Best Roofer in York four years in a row by the community, won over a dozen York Builders Association PEAK Achievement Awards, and hold hundreds of five-star Google reviews. What keeps homeowners coming back is simple: honest inspections, clear pricing with no hidden fees, and a 100% satisfaction guarantee on everything we do.

Yes, we are a GAF Certified Commercial Roofing Contractor serving business owners across Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Delaware, and beyond. For commercial projects we offer System Pledge Roof Guarantees and Integrated System Limited Warranties, and our crews are trained and certified specifically for commercial roofing systems. Whether you manage a small commercial property or a larger building, we bring the same commitment to quality and transparency that our residential customers rely on.

We are a full exterior remodeling company, and beyond roofing, gutters, and siding we also install replacement windows, solar roofing systems including GAF Timberline Solar shingles, and smart outdoor home lighting. We also offer instant online roof quotes so you can get a realistic price estimate before even scheduling an inspection, which is something very few contractors in the area provide. Whether you want to tackle one service or upgrade your entire exterior, we handle it all under one roof with licensed, insured crews and warranty-backed work.

We offer an 18-month zero interest, no monthly payments financing plan through Service Finance Company, making it possible to move forward with your project immediately without any financial pressure during that period. If the balance is paid in full within the 18 months, no interest is charged at all. Our team will walk you through the details and available options during your free consultation so you can choose what makes the most sense for your situation.

It almost always is. Many of the most costly types of roof damage, including granule loss, cracked underlayment, and compromised flashing, are not visible from the ground and can allow water to work its way in long before you notice anything inside. We offer free professional inspections throughout York, Hanover, Red Lion, Dallastown, and surrounding areas, and we also assist with storm damage insurance claims from documentation all the way through meeting with your adjuster when needed. The inspection costs you nothing and gives you either peace of mind or the information you need to take action.
