I had the immense pleasure of having Tony as my project lead and he went above and beyond in every aspect. His timeliness and communication are next level. From my first call inquiring to get a quote, to shaking his hand after completion of my full re-roof and solar installation took less than 40 days to complete. We had TC Backer replace our existing wood siding and trim on our 150+ year old farmhouse with LP Smartside and couldn't be happier with the experience and result. We had 6 companies quote and TC was right in line on price and the only to come out multiple times to ensure all the detail work was understood and the scope of work was clear given the desire to maintain the historic features of the exterior. The entire crew couldn't have been friendlier, tidier, or more accommodating (especially Ho... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

We have been a family-owned exterior remodeling company serving York, PA and surrounding communities since 2008, and we have earned the GAF Master Elite certification, which places us in the top 2% of roofing contractors in all of North America. We have been voted Best Roofer in York four years in a row by the community, won over a dozen York Builders Association PEAK Achievement Awards, and hold hundreds of five-star Google reviews. What keeps homeowners coming back is simple: honest inspections, clear pricing with no hidden fees, and a 100% satisfaction guarantee on everything we do.

Yes, we are a GAF Certified Commercial Roofing Contractor serving business owners across Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Delaware, and beyond. For commercial projects we offer System Pledge Roof Guarantees and Integrated System Limited Warranties, and our crews are trained and certified specifically for commercial roofing systems. Whether you manage a small commercial property or a larger building, we bring the same commitment to quality and transparency that our residential customers rely on.

We are a full exterior remodeling company, and beyond roofing, gutters, and siding we also install replacement windows, solar roofing systems including GAF Timberline Solar shingles, and smart outdoor home lighting. We also offer instant online roof quotes so you can get a realistic price estimate before even scheduling an inspection, which is something very few contractors in the area provide. Whether you want to tackle one service or upgrade your entire exterior, we handle it all under one roof with licensed, insured crews and warranty-backed work.

We offer an 18-month zero interest, no monthly payments financing plan through Service Finance Company, making it possible to move forward with your project immediately without any financial pressure during that period. If the balance is paid in full within the 18 months, no interest is charged at all. Our team will walk you through the details and available options during your free consultation so you can choose what makes the most sense for your situation.

It almost always is. Many of the most costly types of roof damage, including granule loss, cracked underlayment, and compromised flashing, are not visible from the ground and can allow water to work its way in long before you notice anything inside. We offer free professional inspections throughout York, Hanover, Red Lion, Dallastown, and surrounding areas, and we also assist with storm damage insurance claims from documentation all the way through meeting with your adjuster when needed. The inspection costs you nothing and gives you either peace of mind or the information you need to take action.
