Right off the bat, they use sub-contractors for all of the work. Got a roof and gutters installed at the beginning of April. Fast install and a decent roof. Lack of sealant used around vents. Also, found several nail heads exposed along the ridge. As for the gutters, they look great, but they installed the downspouts at the opposite ends of where they originally were. They ran the front out into the middle of the front yard. Had them come back out and move them to theyre original locations. Had ... Read more

Danny Larkin and his Team of guys did a thorough inspection, gave an honest recommendation on what would be the best way to address the our needs. Dave and Carlos were wonderful in site preparation. Surrounded house with protective materials to protect the landscaping. They showed up at 6:30 AM to prep, by 7:30 they were removing the old roof. After lunch they were finishing up the membrane and then the shingles started going up. Most of the house was shingled by 6:30. I really liked the real su... Read more

Thanks so much for taking the time to share all of that, Chris — what a fantastic recap of the whole project! We're thrilled Danny, Dave, Carlos, Jacob, and the rest of the crew made such a great impression, and we'll make sure Lauren gets the shoutout she deserves for keeping things running smoothly on-site. At TC Backer Construction, we take a lot of pride in treating every home like it's our own — from the protective materials around your landscaping to the final walk-around at the end of the job. It's always great to hear that our roofing and gutter installation team in Dover, PA delivered the kind of experience that keeps the neighbors talking. We look forward to coming back for the siding and windows when the time is right — your toys deserve a good-looking shed to match! 😄

I recently had my roof and gutters replaced, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Daniel Larkin came out to inspect my old roof and found that it was in pretty rough shape. He was extremely knowledgeable, took the time to explain everything clearly, and genuinely seemed to care about helping me make the right decision. The team installed a brand-new roof along with new gutters, since my old ones were falling apart. Throughout the entire process, they were professional, reliable, and e... Read more

It almost always is. Many of the most costly types of roof damage, including granule loss, cracked underlayment, and compromised flashing, are not visible from the ground and can allow water to work its way in long before you notice anything inside. We offer free professional inspections throughout York, Hanover, Red Lion, Dallastown, and surrounding areas, and we also assist with storm damage insurance claims from documentation all the way through meeting with your adjuster when needed. The inspection costs you nothing and gives you either peace of mind or the information you need to take action.
