Team Surlis, Gress and Company is a true family real estate business—rooted in Anne Arundel County, Maryland and built on more than 45 years of experience.
Today, Aidan Surlis, Jr., Cathy Surlis-Gress, Chris Gress, and Tara Surlis-Kelly work full time together, combining decades of expertise, deep community connections, and a shared commitment to helping families buy, sell, and manage their homes.
Our story began in 1977 when Catherine and Aidan Surlis, Sr. moved their young family from Long Island, NY, to Maryland, where Aidan launched his real estate career and Catherine opened Lissadell Property Management. Over the years, both built thriving businesses—Aidan in residential sales and Catherine in property management—earning the trust of hundreds of local families.
Now, the second generation carries that tradition forward. Aidan Jr. leads with strategic insight and decades of sales experience. Chris, an Associate Broker, adds a strong background in education and administration, giving clients the benefit of a highly organized, knowledgeable advocate. Cathy, with her background in Sociology, brings a thoughtful, client-focused approach, and Tara’s attention to detail ensure smooth transactions from start to finish.
