About Team Surlis of RE/MAX Leading Edge
Born in Ireland, Aidan Surlis, Sr has lived and served the community of Anne Arundel County for over 30 years. Aidan’s wife, Catherine, is the President of Lissadell Property Management. Their three children: Cathy, Aidan Jr. and Tara, along with Cathy’s husband Chris Gress, and Tara’s husband Tim Kelly are full-time licensed Realtors working together as ‘Team Surlis’ of RE/MAX Leading Edge. As experienced Realtors, we are qualified in guiding you through the decision process when buying or selling a home. We understand that selling or buying a home can be stressful. Our team has your back from the beginning and we will communicate with you throughout the whole process. We believe in using our experience in finance, contracts, negotiating, and marketing to your best advantage. At the end of the day, we want you to feel like you are a part of the Surlis family.

Our Story
Team Surlis, a tight knit family business, has helped their clients buy and sell over 1500 homes in Anne Arundel County and surrounding Counties, for over four decades. Their story begins when Catherine and Aidan Surlis, along with their three children, Cathy, Aidan Jr and Tara, moved to Camp Springs MD in 1977, where Aidan began working for Mike Casey. Mike was a distant cousin of Aidan's and served as his mentor in the real estate industry. It wasn't long before Mike opened an office in Crofton MD, where Aidan became the manager of that office. During that time in the late 70's and early 80s, Crofton Meadows was just being built and Aidan worked a portion of the community as the builder's representative. Catherine and Aidan moved into the new community of Crofton Meadows and Aidan became a REALTOR® for a new company in the area, RE/MAX Leading Edge... and the rest is history. During that time, Catherine was also building her business, Lissadell Property Management, which today, manages over 60 residential homes in the local area.
The story doesn't stop there, as all three children, along with spouses, continue to run and grow the family business. Let's meet the rest of the team:
