Terry Cooch established TLC Home, LLC in 2008, spending hundreds of hours assisting people in making their homes comfortable and functional. In 2012, Terry earned ASP certification as a stager. TLC Home now solely provides staging services, however, Terry's prior work as a professional organizer has given her the insight to provide practical ideas in her staging consultations, lessening the stress and enabling homeowners to take on the duties required to get their home sold. She enjoys both hands-on occupied and vacant staging, and she never fails to get enthusiastic when her staged property sells on the first day for top dollar and often multiple offers! Terry's team has over 50 years of staging experience and can handle any job, no matter how big or small. Historic Row Home – Annapolis, Maryland
This historic Annapolis row home was enhanced by TLC Home Staging & Design with a partial staging approach that celebrated the home's character while preparing it for today's buyers and the unique Annapolis lifestyle.
Because the home was partially furnished, TLC Home focused on adding a fully staged living room and thoughtfully accessorizing throughout the rest of the home. The goal was to create a cohesive presentation that respected the home's historic charm while giving buyers a fresh vision of how beautifully it could support modern living.
Rather than trying to make the home feel newer than it was, the staging embraced its architectural character. Carefully selected furnishings, artwork, and accessories brought warmth, balance, and updated style to the interior, helping buyers imagine enjoying everything that makes living in historic Annapolis so special—from walking to local restaurants and shops to relaxing in a charming home filled with character.
This project is a wonderful example of how professional staging can bridge the gap between historic architecture and contemporary lifestyle, making an older home feel both timeless and move-in ready.

Rancher – Stevensville, Maryland
This one-story rancher in Stevensville was staged by TLC Home Staging & Design to create broad buyer appeal while respecting the home's distinctive architectural style and finishes.
The home featured a strong masculine aesthetic, with dark cabinetry, substantial stonework, and richly patterned granite throughout. Rather than trying to soften or hide these features, TLC Home embraced them by selecting rich colors, warm textures, and Chesapeake-inspired artwork that complemented the home's natural character.
To broaden the home's appeal, the staging introduced a subtle contrast in the primary bedroom. Softer textiles, layered bedding, and elegant accessories created a more serene and inviting retreat, helping female buyers connect emotionally with the space while maintaining the home's overall design integrity.
The result was a balanced presentation that celebrated the home's craftsmanship while appealing to a wider range of buyers. It demonstrated how thoughtful staging can honor a home's personality while ensuring it feels welcoming to everyone who walks through the door.
