Terry Cooch established TLC Home, LLC in 2008, spending hundreds of hours assisting people in making their homes comfortable and functional. In 2012, Terry earned ASP certification as a stager. TLC Home now solely provides staging services, however, Terry's prior work as a professional organizer has given her the insight to provide practical ideas in her staging consultations, lessening the stress and enabling homeowners to take on the duties required to get their home sold. She enjoys both hands-on occupied and vacant staging, and she never fails to get enthusiastic when her staged property sells on the first day for top dollar and often multiple offers! Terry's team has over 50 years of staging experience and can handle any job, no matter how big or small. TLC Home staged this small split-level home in Glen Burnie, a property with a newly completed renovation and a layout that initially felt broken up and hard to read. Our goal was to pull the home together visually and help buyers understand how the updated spaces connect and live as a whole.
With thoughtful furniture placement, scaled pieces, and cohesive styling, we created flow and balance throughout the home—allowing the renovation work to truly shine. TLC Home provided full staging for this charming 1,200 sq. ft. rancher in Shady Side, located just one block from the water. In smaller homes, every room matters, so our goal was to clearly define each space and show buyers how comfortably the home could live.
We staged all three bedrooms, demonstrating flexibility for family living, guests, or work-from-home needs. Thoughtful furniture placement and cohesive styling helped the home feel balanced, functional, and welcoming — while allowing buyers to focus on the desirable waterfront-adjacent location.
