Terry Cooch established TLC Home, LLC in 2008, spending hundreds of hours assisting people in making their homes comfortable and functional. In 2012, Terry earned ASP certification as a stager. TLC Home now solely provides staging services, however, Terry's prior work as a professional organizer has given her the insight to provide practical ideas in her staging consultations, lessening the stress and enabling homeowners to take on the duties required to get their home sold. She enjoys both hands-on occupied and vacant staging, and she never fails to get enthusiastic when her staged property sells on the first day for top dollar and often multiple offers! Terry's team has over 50 years of staging experience and can handle any job, no matter how big or small. This luxury waterfront home in Deale was staged by TLC Home Staging & Design following a full renovation that gave the property the feel of new construction.
The staging design embraced an elevated yet relaxed Chesapeake-inspired style, perfectly suited to the home’s waterfront setting and lifestyle. The goal was to create a look that felt refined but still approachable—ideal for buyers seeking either a primary residence or a weekend getaway.
TLC Home staged the entire first floor, along with the primary suite and a secondary guest suite, ensuring a cohesive flow throughout the most impactful areas of the home. Clean-lined furnishings, soft textures, and coastal-influenced accents enhanced the home’s finishes while keeping the focus on comfort and livability.

TLC Home Staging & Design worked with the home’s existing colors and character, enhancing rather than replacing them. The staging approach focused on creating a cohesive, elevated look while allowing the waterfront setting and architectural uniqueness to stand out.
