Terry Cooch established TLC Home, LLC in 2008, spending hundreds of hours assisting people in making their homes comfortable and functional. In 2012, Terry earned ASP certification as a stager. TLC Home now solely provides staging services, however, Terry's prior work as a professional organizer has given her the insight to provide practical ideas in her staging consultations, lessening the stress and enabling homeowners to take on the duties required to get their home sold. She enjoys both hands-on occupied and vacant staging, and she never fails to get enthusiastic when her staged property sells on the first day for top dollar and often multiple offers! Terry's team has over 50 years of staging experience and can handle any job, no matter how big or small. TLC Home recently staged an updated split foyer home in Annapolis, MD, in collaboration with Realtor Leslee Borman of Berkshire Hathaway. This property had a pleasant surprise with its beautiful paint selection of Sherwin Williams Alabaster, a soft white tone that perfectly complemented the home’s updated features. In a market where “white is the new grey,” this fresh color palette added modern sophistication and appeal.
Our team strategically used the budget to enhance the fantastic upper floor, showcasing its bright and airy atmosphere while also making sure the lower level had purpose and appeal. Severna Park – Five-Bedroom Two-Story Colonial with Family Living Focus
TLC Home recently staged this spacious five-bedroom, two-story colonial in Severna Park, MD, working alongside Realtor Bryant Centofanti of Coldwell Banker. The home had been thoughtfully renovated for aging in place, but the renovations left little space for a traditional dining area. Our challenge was to showcase the home’s potential for both dining and living spaces, making it ideal for a large family.
We carefully arranged the layout to emphasize the spacious living areas, including the newly repurposed basement as additional family space. By strategically placing furnishings and creating distinct zones, we helped buyers envision how the home could accommodate their needs while maintaining a family-friendly flow. This approach highlighted the home’s versatility and showed how it could appeal to families looking for space and functionality.
