Terry Cooch established TLC Home, LLC in 2008, spending hundreds of hours assisting people in making their homes comfortable and functional. In 2012, Terry earned ASP certification as a stager. TLC Home now solely provides staging services, however, Terry's prior work as a professional organizer has given her the insight to provide practical ideas in her staging consultations, lessening the stress and enabling homeowners to take on the duties required to get their home sold. She enjoys both hands-on occupied and vacant staging, and she never fails to get enthusiastic when her staged property sells on the first day for top dollar and often multiple offers! Terry's team has over 50 years of staging experience and can handle any job, no matter how big or small. 1,500-Square-Foot Split Foyer – Arnold, Maryland
This 1,500-square-foot split foyer in Arnold was staged by TLC Home Staging & Design following a complete renovation that transformed the home into a fresh, market-ready property.
The renovation was thoughtfully managed by Christina Janosik Palmer of Keller Williams, whose careful planning and oversight resulted in months of well-executed improvements. Her design selections created a beautiful foundation, allowing TLC Home to complete the presentation through strategic staging.
One of the most rewarding aspects of this project was the lower level. With its lower ceiling height and dated flooring, it could have been tempting to leave the space empty or attempt to distract buyers from its challenges. Instead, TLC Home embraced the room's potential, thoughtfully furnishing it to demonstrate just how comfortable, cozy, and functional it could be.
Rather than hiding the home's imperfections, the staging showed buyers how to live beautifully within the space, helping them envision movie nights, family gatherings, or a quiet retreat. It's a philosophy TLC Home believes in: buyers respond best when they can imagine enjoying a room—not when they're encouraged to ignore it.
The result was a cohesive presentation that highlighted both the quality of the renovation and the everyday livability of every level of the home.
