Terry Cooch established TLC Home, LLC in 2008, spending hundreds of hours assisting people in making their homes comfortable and functional. In 2012, Terry earned ASP certification as a stager. TLC Home now solely provides staging services, however, Terry's prior work as a professional organizer has given her the insight to provide practical ideas in her staging consultations, lessening the stress and enabling homeowners to take on the duties required to get their home sold. She enjoys both hands-on occupied and vacant staging, and she never fails to get enthusiastic when her staged property sells on the first day for top dollar and often multiple offers! Terry's team has over 50 years of staging experience and can handle any job, no matter how big or small. Elegant Two-Story Estate – Davidsonville, Maryland
This 5400 sq ft , elegant two-story home in Davidsonville began with a staging consultation and paint color selection by TLC Home Staging & Design, establishing the design direction before the transformation began.
The home was truly one of a kind, featuring highly ornamental architecture, intricate ceiling moldings, and decorative ceiling artwork throughout. Rather than competing with these extraordinary architectural details, TLC Home developed a design plan that would allow them to become the home's defining feature.
A Modern European aesthetic was selected to complement the home's craftsmanship. Clean-lined furnishings, understated elegance, and a carefully curated color palette created a sophisticated balance between classic architecture and contemporary living. Paint selections were chosen to enhance the intricate moldings and ceiling details while creating a cohesive flow throughout the home.
The consultation provided the roadmap for a design that respected the home's unique character while presenting it in a way that would resonate with today's luxury buyers.
This project is a wonderful example of TLC Home's philosophy: great staging doesn't compete with architecture—it celebrates it.

Townhouse – Pasadena, Maryland
This vacant townhouse in Pasadena was staged by TLC Home Staging & Design to help overcome a space that felt overly dark and monochromatic despite recent updates.
The home featured extensive beige and tan finishes throughout, including a tan kitchen, which caused the small townhouse to feel dull and dim rather than fresh and inviting. TLC Home approached the staging with a focus on brightening the overall presentation through carefully selected furniture, artwork, and accessories that introduced contrast, energy, and visual interest without fighting the existing finishes.
One particularly unique challenge was the primary bedroom, which included an unusual structure with significant exposed wiring. Rather than allowing the feature to feel awkward or unfinished, TLC Home designed the room in a way that demonstrated how the space could still be stylishly and comfortably decorated, helping buyers focus on potential rather than distraction.
The result was a brighter, more cohesive presentation that helped the townhouse feel more livable, modern, and buyer-friendly.
