Terry Cooch established TLC Home, LLC in 2008, spending hundreds of hours assisting people in making their homes comfortable and functional. In 2012, Terry earned ASP certification as a stager. TLC Home now solely provides staging services, however, Terry's prior work as a professional organizer has given her the insight to provide practical ideas in her staging consultations, lessening the stress and enabling homeowners to take on the duties required to get their home sold. She enjoys both hands-on occupied and vacant staging, and she never fails to get enthusiastic when her staged property sells on the first day for top dollar and often multiple offers! Terry's team has over 50 years of staging experience and can handle any job, no matter how big or small. By working carefully within the budget, we used scaled furnishings and simple styling to define the living space, highlight functionality, and improve overall flow. The result was a clean, inviting presentation that helped buyers clearly understand how the space could be lived in comfortably.

A great big thank you to Melanie Wood of Coldwell Banker for hiring TLC Home to stage this adorable townhouse in Arnold. The owners had already done a wonderful job completing post-renter updates and improvements, giving us a strong foundation to work with.
Because the home was vacant, our goal was to add warmth and emotional appeal. We introduced our favorite blues and golds to soften the space and create a welcoming, lived-in feel. Art played a particularly important role in this staging—bringing life, personality, and visual interest to what could have otherwise felt like an ordinary, empty space.
This project is a great example of how thoughtful styling, color, and artwork can transform a vacant home into one that feels inviting, memorable, and buyer-ready.
It was truly a stager’s dream to work on this luxury townhouse in National Harbor—and a first for TLC Home! Located in Oxon Hill, this stunning property called for an elegant, modern design tailored to the expectations of today’s DC-area buyer.
Our staging approach focused on clean lines, refined finishes, and a sophisticated palette to complement the home’s upscale architecture and vibrant urban setting. The result was a polished, contemporary look that felt both luxurious and livable.
