Terry Cooch established TLC Home, LLC in 2008, spending hundreds of hours assisting people in making their homes comfortable and functional. In 2012, Terry earned ASP certification as a stager. TLC Home now solely provides staging services, however, Terry's prior work as a professional organizer has given her the insight to provide practical ideas in her staging consultations, lessening the stress and enabling homeowners to take on the duties required to get their home sold. She enjoys both hands-on occupied and vacant staging, and she never fails to get enthusiastic when her staged property sells on the first day for top dollar and often multiple offers! Terry's team has over 50 years of staging experience and can handle any job, no matter how big or small. Elegant Two-Story Home – Crownsville, Maryland
This elegant 5,000-square-foot two-story home in Crownsville was prepared for market with a staging consultation by TLC Home Staging & Design. The property already featured many beautiful and high-end furnishings, making the goal of the consultation to refine the presentation rather than fully stage the home.
During the consultation, TLC Home guided the sellers on what to keep, what to remove, and how to reposition existing pieces to create a more cohesive and buyer-focused presentation. Strategic adjustments to furniture placement, room function, and accessory balance helped highlight the home’s generous scale and architectural features while maintaining the elegance already present in the home.
With a clear plan in place, the homeowners implemented the recommendations, and the transformation was dramatic. Before and after photos show a stunning improvement, demonstrating how thoughtful staging guidance can elevate even a well-furnished luxury home.

Renovated Two-Story Home – Arnold, Maryland
This small two-story home in Arnold was staged by TLC Home Staging & Design following a renovation that gave the property a fresh, updated feel. With before and after photos highlighting the transformation, the staging focused on reinforcing the home’s new look while helping buyers connect with each space.
TLC Home styled the main living areas to create a cohesive flow, using clean-lined furnishings and balanced accessories to complement the renovation. This two-story home in Crofton was staged by TLC Home Staging & Design as a vacant property, with a focus on creating a strong visual transformation. The before and after photos clearly show how thoughtful staging can completely change the way a home is experienced by buyers.
For this project, TLC Home worked to define each space with purpose, particularly in the main living areas. A key feature was the multi-purpose living room, where we incorporated a desk to demonstrate how the space could function for both relaxing and working from home—an important lifestyle element for today’s buyers.
One of the most enjoyable aspects of this staging was working with the home’s existing emerald green paint color. Rather than neutralizing it, we leaned into the richness of the color, selecting furnishings and accessories that complemented and elevated the space while keeping the overall look balanced and inviting.
