Terry Cooch established TLC Home, LLC in 2008, spending hundreds of hours assisting people in making their homes comfortable and functional. In 2012, Terry earned ASP certification as a stager. TLC Home now solely provides staging services, however, Terry's prior work as a professional organizer has given her the insight to provide practical ideas in her staging consultations, lessening the stress and enabling homeowners to take on the duties required to get their home sold. She enjoys both hands-on occupied and vacant staging, and she never fails to get enthusiastic when her staged property sells on the first day for top dollar and often multiple offers! Terry's team has over 50 years of staging experience and can handle any job, no matter how big or small. This split-foyer home in Annapolis gave TLC Home a vibrant starting point. The house featured a bold mix of existing colors—a warm yellow living and dining area, turquoise tile in the adjoining kitchen, and a soft green primary bedroom. Rather than neutralizing everything, we chose to lean into the palette and create cohesion through intentional styling.
Because we staged this home in mid-summer, it felt natural to continue the color story and amplify a fresh, summery vibe throughout. Carefully selected furnishings and accessories connected the yellow, turquoise, and green tones so they felt harmonious instead of disconnected. Texture, balance, and thoughtful layering helped unify the open areas while preserving the home’s personality.
The result was a bright, confident design that felt joyful, seasonal, and completely livable—showing buyers that bold color can feel curated and intentional when staged properly.
