Terry Cooch established TLC Home, LLC in 2008, spending hundreds of hours assisting people in making their homes comfortable and functional. In 2012, Terry earned ASP certification as a stager. TLC Home now solely provides staging services, however, Terry's prior work as a professional organizer has given her the insight to provide practical ideas in her staging consultations, lessening the stress and enabling homeowners to take on the duties required to get their home sold. She enjoys both hands-on occupied and vacant staging, and she never fails to get enthusiastic when her staged property sells on the first day for top dollar and often multiple offers! Terry's team has over 50 years of staging experience and can handle any job, no matter how big or small. Our goal was to bring clarity, function, and flow — and to help buyers see how well this home truly lives.
We started by addressing one of the most important staging principles: showing purpose for every space. By reimagining an unused seating area as an inviting dining space, TLC Home helped buyers immediately envision gatherings with a view. Fresh accessories, coordinated artwork, and updated décor created visual continuity throughout, tying together the home’s contemporary style with a relaxed coastal feel.
This project is a perfect example of how professional home staging, space planning, and furniture placement can highlight a home’s strengths, improve buyer perception, and transform a property from “almost there” to offer-ready. TLC Home’s thoughtful approach to waterfront staging emphasizes light, lifestyle, and the emotional connection that makes buyers fall in love.
