Terry Cooch established TLC Home, LLC in 2008, spending hundreds of hours assisting people in making their homes comfortable and functional. In 2012, Terry earned ASP certification as a stager. TLC Home now solely provides staging services, however, Terry's prior work as a professional organizer has given her the insight to provide practical ideas in her staging consultations, lessening the stress and enabling homeowners to take on the duties required to get their home sold. She enjoys both hands-on occupied and vacant staging, and she never fails to get enthusiastic when her staged property sells on the first day for top dollar and often multiple offers! Terry's team has over 50 years of staging experience and can handle any job, no matter how big or small. Working with the seller’s furnishings, we refined furniture placement, added coordinated décor, and created welcoming vignettes that emphasized comfort, flow, and functionality. The refreshed spaces felt brighter, more open, and emotionally engaging — helping buyers immediately picture themselves at home.

TLC Home staged this Glen Burnie property using a half-and-half approach, blending the seller’s existing furnishings with carefully selected TLC Home pieces to achieve balance and flow. The homeowners had left many furnishings in place, providing a great foundation to build upon. Our team filled in key furniture gaps and layered in coordinated accessories, artwork, and soft décor to create a cohesive, inviting design.
This approach showcases how professional home staging can elevate lived-in spaces, improve room definition and scale, and create a strong buyer connection without requiring a full vacant stage.
