United is the only company I now call for HVAC. They are very responsive and take care of my needs. Tried the others in KC and none of them stack up to United.
The guy who came out was nice enough, and I think he made an honest effort, but he suggested that I needed to replace the board on a furnace less than 2 years old. If he had the part on hand, I probably would have paid to get it done.
I get back from the store after picking up space heaters, and my furnace is back on.
I ended up finding and fixing the issue myself without replacing anything. I would not describe myself as particularly handy.
