We replaced the roof for Miss Rigney in one day. We installed the heaviest weight architectural shingle and qualified her for an insurance discount. Her roof is rated at 130 mph winds and ready for the Oklahoma weather. Lot's of extra ice and water shield was installed to protect her home because that is the Up Armor Standard. We upgraded her ventilation, ridge shingle, and also protected her high dollar gutter guard system.

We're very proud of the work we did on this home and what we did for the customer. We helped the customer fight State Farm as State Farm denied their roof claims. We made sure the home was water tight throughout the claim process. Ventilation is not easy on a big roof like this with very little ridge to work with. Nonetheless, we calculated the required net free airflow and installed 3 power vents in order to move enough air and give the roof the longest possible lifespan. mixing types of ventilation is not allowed. This ventilation situation was an exception because of multiple separated attic spaces. We hope other roofers will use the ventilation on this roof as a model and follow suit. Additionallly the home is prepared for the Oklahoma weather: We installed CertainTeed Shadow Ridge on all hips and ridges. (Rated for 130 mph winds)

This was a unique project. We don't often install Owens Corning but we worked with the HOA and they required the shingles to be Owens Corning Estate Gray. We removed the 7 turtleback vents (inappropriate for steep roofs) and replaced them with 7 slant back vents and added 6 more slant back vents to perfectly provide the correct ventilation for maximum roof health & lifespan.
