Mr. Smith, Thank you for the feedback on how this process went. We do strive for excellence at the end of the day and we apologize that there were a couple of extra steps to get there. The production team says that there were some flaws in the first door jamb that was purchased and once that was pointed out, we did purchase another one that did not have those imperfections. It is our standard practice to purchase any baseboards any other carpentry trim locally upon installation, simply so we can be certain not to purchase too much or too little and be sure to get the right look for each individual home. As for the wet wood from your previous leak, typically we will always try to treat the lumber first and use what is existing, in your case that wasn’t the best option and we were more than happy to replace it instead. We do stand by this product for life and want to make sure it is the best it can be, whether it is visible or not.
