It wasn't easy, but we did manage to find the source of the water after a day of investigating. Shown here is our Mitten Lux 4" V groove steel siding in white oak. We also installed 4" seamless eavestrough in windswept smoke.

We chose first choice after reading reviews as we felt they were a reputable company. I think the cost is a bit more but you get a detailed breakdown and can negotiate on some things. Stan accommodate all our needs and was supportive through the whole process. The workers were experienced and did quality work.
