          I waited 4 1/2 years before writing my review of Alan Smith Pools. They replastered our pool in white plaster, raised our spa wall and matched the existing tiles for new spa wall. We also got all new equipment (pump, filter and heater.) So why the 5 star review? Integrity. Only 4 1/2 years into our 10 year warranty, the plaster in one area began to delaminate.           So we were given lots of good recommendations for Alan Smith and the sales guys Mike was very good an thorough but that’s where everything ended. Once the work began there was absolutely no communication, workers showed up whenever they wanted and no updates were given. Our PM was completely absentee. I reached out several times to my sales guy and then the GM of the company and similar to another review they said “we dropped the ball and are so sorry” but no changes were made.           We had hired Alan Smith Pools to do some minor repairs to my very old pool. They started emptying the pool January 3, 2017 and all that was left to complete the project was to plaster. Then the multiple days of torrential rain came. We looked out the window one morning when the rain stopped, and my pool had lifted out of the ground 1 foot along with the decking, etc. We immediately called Allen Smith Pools and they had a team out to my house to access the situation.
