I called because my sons system would not turn on. The thermostat indicated on but the unit did not run. The part was a $2 fuse in the attic. The $133 trip/diagnostic service was expected. What I did not expect was a $447 charge to check the wiring. This unit was installed less than a year ago, and was inspected less than 30 days ago at time of home purchase. Tim was great. That being said I would not use Alaskan Air Conditioning and Heating again. After reviewing my receipt I noted that there was no break down for labor and parts. I called the office and asked for the cost of the part that was replaced and the labor charge. I was told they don't bill that way and that was pretty much the end of the conversation. I don't mind paying for parts and labor but I would like a itemized receipt for the work done.
